Nokia T-Mobile
Following up, the FCC has also revealed the first images and details surrounding the US version of the Nokia C7. The version approved by the FCC features support for T-Mobile’s 3G bands as well as Symbian^3 along with a 3.5 inch capacitive touch display, microSD expansion slot, 8.0 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 8GB of internal memory, Bluetooth and support for UMA. Neither T-Mobile nor Nokia have announced the phone at this time.
Nokia previously canceled the launch of the X7 US exclusive Symbian^3 smartphone due to a lack of confidence in AT&T’s ability to market the phone effectively and provide enough of a subsidy to draw customers to the phone. The launch of the C7 on T-Mobile would make it only the second Symbian^3 device to be launched in the US, following next month’s launch of the E7 by Nokia as an unlocked model.
